Toured England with Australian Indigenous Team, played 2nd XI Cricket for Queensland, play first grade in Brisbane, was QLD under 17 best junior player of the year.


Cricket Biography:

Preston is highly talented young Australian All-Rounder. He is fluent right hand stroke maker, who can bat anywhere in the top order. Preston is also a Left arm bowler opening bowler capable of swinging the ball both ways at good pace. Preston also bowls left arm finger spin if the game dictates. He has been a star performer in Queensland grade cricket for a number of years and on the back of these performances gained selection for the State 2nd xi in the Futures League. Preston scored a match winning 142 in last years grade final to secure his club the 1st grade competition. He is capable of winning a match with either bat or ball from any position.

Preston has previous UK experience with Swinton Moorside that play in the Manchester Association. He represented them in 2011 and 2012. In 2011 Preston helped them clinch the Championship scoring 1478 runs at 73.9 and taking 63 wickets in all compettions. In 2012 he broke the 1000 runs barrier again with 1153 runs at 64.06 and took 43 wickets.

In 2014 Preston represented Euxton CC in the Ribblesdale League and was star performer with both bat and ball. He was the clubs leading run scorer and highest wicket taker in the league. Preston amassed 893 runs including 2 centuries, he also took 71 wickets including two 8 wicket hauls

Preston is also a qualified coach and is great with juniors. Preston is seeking to challenge himself again in the UK for 2015 and represents a fantastic performer. He would like to secure a contract with a ECB Premier League club ideally for the 2015 season.
